Today's Eyeshadow look using my GlamourDollEyes eyeshadows

ok, so i decided to experiment with my GlamourDollEyes eyeshadow. i used my L'oreal de-crease eyeshadow base as my primer. i then proceeded to apply Slumber Party all over my lids, Shaded Orchid on my outer v's of my eyes and into my creases, and Sterling Glitz as a highlight (i love glitter lol), i applied NYC liquid eyeliner in Pearly Black to line my upper eyelids and Jordana eyeliner in Purple Fusion on my waterline. i then topped it off with Andrea Accents lashes...hope you like :)

L'oreal's De-Crease

hey everyone, it's me again. this is just a short review i wanted to get at you with.

the product i'm reviewing is L'oreal's De-crease. it's an eyeshadow base that's said to help brighten and prolong your eyeshadow. i recently purchased this product and find that for a drugstore product, it's actually very good. it might not be for everyone and this is just an opinion based on my personal opinion. the product doesn't go on wet, but actually a little dry and you have to be quick about blending it into your eye lids. so it would be best if you applied and blended one lid at a time. for those of you who have oily lids like me, and if you're on a budget, this product is a must have. i wake up early (around 6 or 6:30) every day and usually start applying my makeup @ 7. i can honestly say that my eyeshadow stays vibrant and doesn't crease at all for a full 8 to 9 hours. i even fell asleep with my makeup on and when i woke up, my makeup was still in place like i just applied it. again, this is an opinion based on my personal opinion. it's not expensive, i paid aproximately $9 for it at my local drug store. you can find it at most drugstores like Rite Aid, Duane Reade, CVS, etc, or wherever L'oreal products are sold.  i added a pic of what my (cotton candy inspired)makeup looked like today using L'oreal's De-crease as my base

My Very First Online Purchase

hey everyone, my name is Kandie and i'd like to share my very first online purchase with you.

first allow me to start by saying welcome to my page and thanks for stopping by. i hope as time goes on, i can share some wisdom and insite with a lot of you.

another thing i'd like to add, is that i'm totally addicted to youtube. i am a subscriber to a lot of people who have inspired me to improve on my makeup and hair skills. initally i was the type to just wear mascara and lipgloss everyday. if i happened to wear eyeshadow on special occassions or whenever i was in the mood, i always applied it in a one dimension fashion. since viewing many tutorials on youtube and practicing, i have graduated to wearing eyeshadow in a 3 dimensional fashion. i've always had a passion for makeup and hair, and hope that one day i will become just as good as the pros if not better (;))

ok on to my first online purchase. because of viewing a particular tutorial on youtube, i discovered a web site called GlamourDollEyes. this is a online store that sells eyeshadows, blushes and some accessories. the owner's name is Vanessa Barney and right now she's a one woman show.

i viewed pics of her products used by other customers and thought the colors were amazing. i must say that after receiving my purchase, the colors are even more amazing in person. they are very, very pigmented in my opinion.

i haven't used them as of yet but i swatched the colors that i've purchased and absolutely love them, and can't wait to use them. the day i use my GlamourDollEyes eyeshadow, I will post some pics. for now i'm going to post a swatch pic and some pics of the colors that i purchased.

on the GlamourDollEyes web site, you have the option of buying full or sample jars of the products. being that i was a first time buyer, i chose to purchase the sample size jars which cost me $3.50 each. i must say that i was a little disappointed that the jars were tiny and on top of that weren't a little more fuller of product than they were. i was pleased with the fact that i got free shipping on my order. i'm actually looking forward to purchasing from the GlamourDollEyes web site again in the near future.
